Resurrection Rolls

 Sunday, 4/17

Christ is Risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

I made these in my childhood. It is a delight to share them with my child and all of you!

I hope you have enjoyed our week of baking together. I hope you learned a little more about yourself and a little more about God as we considered God who is the bread of life this week.

INGREDIENTS

1 tube of crescent rolls (you can make them from scratch; left over cocoa brioche dough would work well)

2 tablespoons of melted butter

3 tablespoons of cinnamon sugar

8 large marshmallows

METHOD

Melt the butter.

Roll out crescent roll triangle

Roll marshmallow in butter and then in cinnamon sugar

Place the marshmallow in the middle of the triangle and tuck and fold dough around it. Make sure to pinch together any gaps so that the marshmallow does not spill out in the oven.

Place rolls on a baking sheet.

Mix the remainder of the butter and cinnamon sugar together and brush on top of the rolls.

Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.
